Visit to the Headquarters of Barry Callebaut in Zurich
The Mission undertook an exploratory visit to the Headquarters of Barry Callebaut, a chocolate factory in Zurich, Switzerland, on 25th April, 2024. The visit comprised an insightful tour of the company’s factory and a meeting with a board member of the company. The Head of Mission was briefed on the company’s activities in Ghana and the pivotal role of Ghanaian cocoa farmers in the cocoa value chain, as well as the significance of their contributions to the final chocolate products.
