The Embassy facilitated the working visit of Officials from the Ministry of Environment, Science and Technology, and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to Berne from 3rd to 4th July, 2025. During their visit, the delegation met with Officials from the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) and the Federal Office for the Environment (FOEN) to discuss the progress of the Ghana-Switzerland Cooperation Agreement under Article 6 of the Paris Agreement. During the discussions, the delegation formally announced the completion of the largest volume of Internationally Transferred Mitigation Outcomes to the Swiss Emission Registry.
