On 27th March 2026, H.E. Prof. Mrs. Esi Awuah undertook a two-hour journey from Berne to the University of St. Gallen, where she engaged in a series of insightful discussions and academic exchanges.
Upon arrival, she was warmly received by Sebastian Frankenberger and Dr. Peter Lindstrom. The visit commenced at the SQUARE building, designed by Sou Fujimoto, a space dedicated to fostering dialogue across science, society, business, politics and culture.
During the visit, the University was hosting the St. Gallen Global Strategy Simulation Day, which provided a platform for engaging in discussions on pressing global issues. Her Excellency was also introduced to innovative classroom environments that reflect modern pedagogical approaches in higher education, creating opportunities to exchange ideas on teaching methodologies and academic practices.
