It was a productive week in Wa, Ghana, where a SECO team together with the Swiss Cooperation Office in Ghana joined partners from Ghana’s Ministry of Energy & Green Transition and the Northern Electricity Distribution Company of Ghana (NEDCo). They inspected the ongoing NEDCo Grid Intensification and Extension project financed by Switzerland through SECO. Together, we are working to extend the electricity grid to new communities and upgrade existing infrastructure, helping deliver more reliable power to homes and businesses. It was encouraging to see the project’s progress firsthand and the positive impact already being felt on the ground. Many thanks to all partners contributing to this shared vision of a stronger, more resilient energy network.
