His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, President of the Republic of Ghana, arrived in Switzerland on 22nd January, 2026, to participated in the Accra Reset Agenda Programme held on the margins of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
In his address, His Excellency the President reiterated the importance of a new model of global partnership, built on shared vision, mutual respect, and collaboration, rather than charity. He noted that such models, designed to address the needs of the Global South, must be aligned with national and regional priorities. The ultimate objective is to build a continent where young people have meaningful opportunities at home, thereby reducing the need for irregular and dangerous migration.
The engagement in Davos reaffirmed the importance of translating dialogue into delivery and forging partnerships that deliver tangible impact for our people.
