Discussion on promoting sustainable production of cocoa in Ghana

H.E. Prof. Mrs. Esi Awuah, Ghana's Ambassador to the Swiss Confederation, met with Mr. Filippo Veglio, the President for Swiss Platform for Sustainable Cocoa, and Mr. Roger Wehrli, CEO of Chocosuisse and Biscosuisse to discuss cooperation between the organisations and the Ghana Cocoa Board in promoting the sustainable production of cocoa in Ghana.

During the discussions, the Ambassador underscored Ghana's commitment to sustainability, ethical sourcing, and improved livelihoods for cocoa farmers.

She further emphasized the importance of partnerships that strengthen value addition, environmental stewardship, and long-term economic resilience within Ghana's cocoa sector.
